Ultrasonic inspection

Ultrasonic test involves sending a high sound Frequency through the polyethylene material .

The sound wave will travel through the test sample and be reflected from the opposing side.

If there is a flaw in the part ,the sound wave will be reflected before it reaches its destination ,and a visual indication is seen on the ultrasonic monitor.

The Following test can be carried out:

• Inspection of polyethylene pipe flanges.
• Material Thickness testing.
• Inspection wear on bends and pipe lines.
